I seriously think that I need some refreshments. Life's quite not happening at the moment.But that doesn't mean that I'm not in control of things right now, though I've been quite distracted lately. I'm back to that phase where things are not getting exciting, and everything seems to be going downhill. Is it just me or the first half of they year is always boring? Blargh.

I have nothing else to blog about.

Suddenly I'm reminded of the fact that I do have a blog and there hasn't been proper update for quite some time.

Mainly because what I have been doing these past few days are just your average boring routine.

Well, I had spent sometime earning some extra cash.

I spent one of the weekends being a flyer girl for Marks & Spencer. Niek, Daryl and Dixon was working as well. We basically had to give out 10,000 flyers/day, with 3 locations each day. Guess what, it turned out to be a quite depressing job. I had thought that it would've been easy, just giving out flyers. BUT NOOOOOO.

Imagine hundreds of people giving you cock stare when you try to hand out the flyer to them. I seriously felt like slapping them over and over again. Or sticking a lightsaber up their asses. I mean, I was SMILING nicely to them. Please, a polite hand gesture implying "No, thank you" would've been nice.

KLCC was horrible because we didn't have permit to go inside the premises to give out the flyers. So had to give the flyers out under the hot sun =(

We ended up having 4,000 flyers left untouched. But I guess it wasn't our fault, the crowd just wasn't cooperating. We tried our best, really.

Another job that I had was being an usherette for the Health & Happiness charity gala dinner at JW Marriot Hotel. Our boss was Gael's mum. Gael is Sutesh's band, Vacant Illusion's vocalist. It was my first time being an usherette! My job was basically just to direct the guests to their seats. After that, we were practically free to do what we please to do, until we were allowed to go home.

And free fine dining dishes!! Beer & wine as well! There were actually 4 courses. But we only had the chance to eat the main course and the dessert. I also ate a lot of their snacks (the cheese sticks dipped into Thousand Island sauce!).

This is the main course. Some stuffed chicken. The name was too fancy I couldn't remember it :P

The dessert! Dark moist chocolate with blablabla I forgot the name also. But it was yummy!!

Was really really tempted to drink the beer & wine, but I was reminded that it is unethical to do so. I definitely don't want to look drunk in front of the guests and my bosses. So I didn't drink even a sip of it. So far, being an usherette is the most fun & relaxing job I've ever gotten =)

Other than that, I've nothing to blog about. OH! Maybe I can do some advertising. 3 female Schnauzer puppies for sale! Interested? Contact me!

Because after putting up with all this for the past eighteen years, I sure do wish that anything good and bright will finally come out in the end.

Happily ever-after is overrated, but yet I still keep crossing my fingers for it. Maybe not ever-after, but a piece of it would suffice, wouldn't it?

The question is, how long more do I have to cope with this until? At some point, we would have to give up on something eventually. After all, I'm only human.

The phrase "Never give up" is probably the most overrated and overused phrase ever, but maybe it's just what we all need. A little bit of encouragement, a speck of faith.

But for now, cut me some slack, please?

i won't worry my life away

I'm running out on ideas on what to blog. My days here are just the same old routine; wake up, go to classes, eat, do assignments, sleep. I would usually want to blog about some thoughts or opinions that I have on something but my minds are just too occupied with university stuffs at the moment. So I would just keep those thoughts at the back of my head momentarily, and forget about wanting to blog about it in the end.

I have an assignment for microeconomics due for next Monday already, and it's only the third week! Crazeehh. I have barely enough energy to start writing the essays for my assignments, let alone blog about something interesting.

Just some recap of this and last week :

1. Was supposed to go on a trek with Mr. TMC and others, but ended up not going =(
2. Slept in the lecture hall on the first week of uni! =P It was Micro btw.
3. Made a vow not to fail any more units in Monash and graduate with flying colors!
4. Had a meeting with the Head of Business School. You guys might guess why =P
5. Solved the 3x3x3 Rubik's cube for the first time!
6. And for the second, third, fourth, fifth...... Seriously I've solved it too many times already. My next goal is to solve it within 3 minutes, then 2, then 1 =)
7. Made new friends in Monash who are not correlated to any of my group of friends at all!
8. Had a sudden rush of being an impulse buyer and got myself a new pair of Marc by MJ aviators! I think I was possessed by Becky Bloomwood. Or perhaps it's just Niniek.
9. AND THE BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT! I actually started doing all my homeworks, reading up for tutorial and lecture as preparations! I'm proud =) =)

My next step is... start going back to church? I need to repent.

I'm changing. For good. Amen.
